Leave your brows alone for two to three weeks if you can. No tweezing between visits: the stray hairs are what your artist shapes with.
A little redness fades within the hour. Skip heavy creams, makeup on the area and the gym until the evening. Tell us if you use retinoids or acne treatments.

Every brow we shape begins with a map. Three points, taken from your own features, show where your brow should begin, where it should lift and where it should end.

The map is the starting point; the eye is what finishes it. Our threaders have decades at the chair and hundreds of thousands of brows behind them, by hand in River North since 1999. They know when to follow the map exactly, and when your bone structure, the way your brows grow and the small differences between left and right ask for something gentler.

questions
Thread or wax?
Whichever suits you. We have been threading since 1999 and are just as practised with wax. Choose one, or a blend of the two in the same visit. Every artist does both.
How long does threading take?
A brow is about ten minutes. Brow and lip together, a little longer.
How often should I come in?
Every four weeks or so, the rhythm brows grow back on. Many clients come every week or two and keep a standing time with their artist.
Does it hurt?
A quick sting, less than waxing for most people, and it fades in minutes. Tell your artist if your skin is sensitive or you use retinoids or acne treatments.
Do you take walk-ins?
Always. Walk-ins are welcome any time we are open, with no appointment needed, for a particular artist or whoever is free. If there is a wait, our app and this page show it live, and you can hold your place by text before you leave home.
What if I need to cancel or move my visit?
Just let us know. Reply to any of our texts and we will move it or cancel it. We appreciate notice when you can give it, and there is never a fee. If the time stops working, don't worry about it.
Do you run offers or packages?
No. Prices are the same for everyone, and booking services together costs the same as booking each one.
